Smartwatches

by Ready4S Thu Oct 06, 2016 11:31 am

Smartwatches are becoming more and more popular and this year users have a lot of them to choose from.
I found some examples in this article: http://www.digitaltrends.com/wearables/best-smartwatch/
They include:
Apple Watch Series 2
Huawei Watch
Fossil QFounder
Motorola Moto 360
Can you write more examples of quality watches?

I believe that nowadays, the difference between smartwatches and smartbands sales are quite similar. I love the discussion about the war between them. A smartwatch is useful, but, honestly, right now what we need are smartbands for fitness, health, notifications....
I've found this article about how little we know about the future of smartwatches vs smartbands war

I would support smartwatches in this war because people like to have everything in one place and smartwatches have more and more functions. But smartbands are also great for some specific purposes. For example, one of our clients created a very innovative band that monitor patients health data in hospitals.

Have you got any predictions about how smartwatches market will look like? According to Mashable (http://mashable.com/2016/12/02/no-moto- ... TYKKgO1qqP), Motorola - one of leaders in this market - doesn't "see enough pull in the market". Why do you think it is so?

We live in an era where technology is prominent. I will support smartwatches in this war. Smartwatches allow one to make and receive calls and updates. When compared to some new technologies, smartwatches are rather affordable. smartwatches simply do everything a smartphone can but they're not there to replace your phone - they're there to complement it, and make your life that little bit easier.
Some more examples of quality smart watches are:
Martian watches
SmartWatch 2
Qualcomm Toq
COOKOO
MetaWatch
WIMM Labs
Digital Spy.

Wow, they have also become extremely stylish nowadays, cool!
In case of Tag Heuer - I wouldn't even guess that it is a smartwatch.
